This video shows you how to properly assemble the corner joint of rebar cages in the foundation. By sliding a bayonet rebar cage into a closed cage, you create a proper corner solution. Step by step, the placement of the reinforcement and the different mounting materials are explained.
A corner joint can also be made with an open and closed cage end. Using U-links, the cages are linked. This video clearly explains how to do this. The placement of the various mounting materials is also included again.
The third video shows you how to connect open rebar cages with lapping bars. We explain what you need to pay attention to, for example at what distance from each other you need to place the cages.
