A rod is not round. In theory and in calculations, for example, we refer to a rod with a diameter of 10 mm. However, in practice, the rod may have different dimensions due to manufacturing and coding. In this table an indication of the practical diameters of reinforcing bars . The actual diameters are different for each reinforcing steel producer and may therefore differ slightly from this indication.
