BEC mesh are the standard mesh in the Netherlands and are mainly used in floors. They meet the latest standards (Eurocode 2) and have an efficient lapping length. They are provided with flying ends (lapping lengths) on one long and one wide side.
These flying ends ensure a good connection to the next reinforcing mesh. This prevents unnecessary double reinforcement and creates a flatter floor field. The BEC mesh is the ideal reinforcing mesh for making concrete floors.
