Head of modelling team

Tasks and responsibilities:

• You independently design and dimension concrete reinforcement to the detail level of all common projects (residential and non-residential constuctions).
• You check colleagues' projects meticulously. We work with the 4-eye principle. Projects of yours are also checked.
• You answer technical questions from the other modellers; you are the team's reinforcement expert. 
• You take the initiative to contact customers to gather the right information, make proposals or answer questions.
• You are ultimately responsible for the completed work of the modellers' team consisting of 4 people. You distribute the work and ensure quality and efficiency within the team in a positive, stimulating way.
• You are and stay abreast of market developments and requirements.

Who are you?

• You have HBO working and thinking level.
• You have experience with 3D modelling within the construction industry.
• You have leadership experience.
• You are an entrepreneurial type and see commercial opportunities.
• You are technical, analytical and above all creative.
• You are decisive, result-oriented, direct, correct and agreement-is-agreement is self-evident for you.
• You embrace changes and have no trouble with ad hoc work.

What does your day look like?

With your coffee in hand, you discuss yesterday's day. Then you check your e-mail. Three new projects have arrived. Your first task is to divide these projects. You work out the reinforcement of a basement yourself. In between, you answer a colleague's question and make sure he can get back to work.

A message from your sales colleague. You made for a model last week and now he asks for an extension on this model. You pick this up in between.

After lunch, a moment to briefly go over the details of all ongoing projects with the other modellers. Then new requests and adjustments to current designs follow each other in rapid succession. An important moment to set priorities. You end the day by finalising that basement. A new day tomorrow.

We do this partly through a user-friendly web shop with various configurators that make ordering easy. ‘What you see is what you get’ and customisation is the standard. Every quotation comes with a 3D model with parts list, so customers can be sure to order only what they need. Together, we are always looking to be faster, better, more efficient in all areas of our organisation.
